Boarding details
Where Do Passengers Board?
The Coeur d’Alene cruise boards from Independence Point. Click the button below to download the map for walking directions from the Resort to the Independence Point Boarding location.
What time does the cruise board?
30 minutes prior to departure time. Boarding begins at 6:15 p.m. and the cruise departs at 6:45 p.m.
How long is the cruise?
The cruise is approximately 2 hours long.
Is there a dress code for the sunset dinner cruise?
No, resort casual attire is just fine on the dinner cruise.
Is it cold on the cruise boat?
The bottom portion of all boats is completely covered and heated. We recommend bringing a jacket if it is cool outside, though! May evenings in Coeur d’Alene tends to be cold, so it is advised to bring/wear attire that will keep you warm if the temperature drops.
Will the cruise be cancelled due to weather?
Cruises will only be canceled due to hazardous wind or smoke conditions — please note that if it is just raining or snowing, the boat will still go out, as that is not considered hazardous to our operation.
What if I miss the cruise boat departure?
In the case that you accidentally miss your cruise, please give our team a call to see if we can get you on the next one that goes out: (208) 292-5670. This is based on availability and will be attended by the general public — not affiliated with the ACOMS Annual Scientific Conference & Exhibition.
Is Smoking Allowed?
Smoking is not permitted on any public cruises that are 3 hours or less. If the public cruise is longer than three hours, such as the St Joe River Cruise, then smoking is permitted outdoors only in our designated smoking area. Smoking inside is not permitted on any cruise.
Can I get a refund if I decided I no longer want to go?
No, all ticket sales are final and nonrefundable.
